Learn About the Accessible Learning Conference
Michigan State University College of Arts and Letters will be hosting the fourth annual Accessible Learning Conference (ALC) on December 6-7, 2018. ALC is designed to explore a range of topics including universally accessible courses, websites, and content. Our focus is to help students, faculty, and community members come together to address the importance of accessibility in education.
ALC began as the one-day Making Learning Accessible Conference in 2015 with 80 attendees. From there, the conference has continued to grow in attendees, duration, and scope. Through each iteration, there remains a steadfast commitment to student involvement. Both undergraduate and graduate students are encouraged to submit proposals to present work they are doing related to accessibility and disability studies, or are invited to attend and hone their professional networking skills.
