Melanie Yergeau, Professor of English, University of Michigan
Bio: Melanie Yergeau is an associate professor of English at the University of Michigan, where she teaches classes in disability studies and digital rhetoric. She is the author of Authoring Autism: On Rhetoric and Neurological Queerness (Duke UP, 2018), and her work has also appeared in Journal of Social Philosophy, Kairos, Disability Studies Quarterly, and College English, among other places. She has previously served on the board of directors of the Autistic Self Advocacy Network, a nonprofit organization run for and by autistic people, as well as the board of the Autism National Committee (AutCom).
