ALC 2018 Sponsorship Information

Michigan State University College of Arts and Letters (CAL) will be hosting the fourth annual Accessible Learning Conference on December 6-7, 2018. ALC provides attendees with a range of sessions exploring universally accessible courses, websites, and content. Our focus is to help students, faculty, and community members come together to address the importance of accessibility in education. However, we can’t put on this conference without your support!

The generosity of our sponsors helps defray the cost of attending for our conference participants and ensures the event can be an enjoyable, informative, and accommodating place.

There are varying sponsorship levels available. Review this list below, or contact Kate Sonka (ksonka@msu.edu) to discuss what would work for your organization.

Keynote & Plenary Speaker Sponsors
$1000 (FULFILLED)

Last year we were able to bring in renowned cognitive disability expert Shea Tanis from the University of Colorado Coleman Institute for Cognitive Disabilities, and David Chesney of University of Michigan Engineering. To continue to attract high caliber speakers, we need to cover the cost of their transportation, food, and lodging. If you support us at this level, your logo will appear on the ALC website and on signage during the keynote address.

Breakfast Sponsors
$1500 (three $500 sponsorships available)

In order to fuel our attendees and prepare them for two full days of sessions addressing accessibility in education, we want to provide them with continental breakfast and coffee at the Kellogg Center before the conference starts. If you support us at this level, your logo will appear on the ALC website and on signage placed next to the coffee.

Lunch Sponsors
$3000 (five of six $500 sponsorships available).

To keep momentum going throughout each day, we would like to provide attendees with boxed lunches from the Kellogg Hotel & Conference Center. Keeping lunch in-house will allow for continued networking around accessibility for all attendees. If you support us at this level, your logo will appear on the ALC website and on signage placed next to the lunches.

Parking Sponsors
$800 (two $400 sponsorships available)

Accessibility is important to us, and that includes easily parking in the Kellogg Center parking ramp. With your support, we can make sure that all attendees get a parking voucher for the day of the conference. If you support us at this level, your logo will appear on the ALC website and on signage throughout the event.

Afternoon Break Sponsors
$600 (FULFILLED)

During our afternoon sessions, we’d like to refill the coffee for our attendees. If you support us at this level, your logo will appear on the ALC website and on signage during the break.

Accommodation Support
$2000 (two of four $500 sponsorships available)

To ensure ALC remains a barrier-free event, we plan to include a variety of accommodations support (i.e. closed captioning, CART services, ASL interpreters, Braille and large print materials, and more). If you support us at this level, your logo will appear on the ALC website and on signage throughout the event.

If you’re interested in sponsoring the conference at a different monetary level or by providing services, contact Kate Sonka at ksonka@msu.edu.
